Certificate of Authenticity

Every Phulay shawl is tested at an NABL-accredited laboratory before it ever leaves Kashmir. The certificate that comes back is not a marketing document — it is a scientific report, and it travels inside every box.

We are not asking you to trust us. We are showing you the proof.

Certificate of Authenticity — Phulay
100% Cashmere (Pashmina) Changthangi Origin — Confirmed Pass — Genuine Pashmina NABL Accredited Laboratory

A real certificate, for a real piece. Not a promise — a result.

Certification

We do not ask you to trust the label. We show you the test.

01
The shawl is made
An artisan in Srinagar completes the shawl. At this point it has not been listed or offered for sale.
02
The fibre is tested
A sample of fibre is sent to an NABL-accredited laboratory — certified to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The laboratory tests whether the fibre is pashmina and what its fineness is in microns.
03
Pass or no sale
If the test confirms 100% pure pashmina at the correct fineness, the shawl is numbered and listed for sale. If the result is anything else, the shawl is not sold. This has already happened once. The piece was permanently removed.
04
The certificate travels with the shawl
The test certificate is placed inside the box. When you open your order, it is the first thing you see. You can verify the laboratory's accreditation independently at nabl.gov.in.

Every penny. No questions asked.

The certificate inside every Phulay box is not a gesture. It is a commitment. If any independent test of your shawl's fibre returns a result other than 100% pure Changthangi pashmina, Phulay returns every penny. No conditions. No questions asked.
